Knowing the skies – A to Z challenge

As the night turned surprisingly windy, I glanced upon the sky. A few stars surprisingly  maintained their brightness, conquering the reigning forces of smog and it’s pollutant buddies.

Unfortunately, even the signs of fate has to fight through, these days. As I viewed the sky from one end to the other, the moon, which was hidden in the clouds until now, did a peek-a-boo. It must have chosen a few special starry friends for its company, I thought.

As I was glancing and searching the skies for more company, my cellphone warned me that it was time for me to sleep. How ironical was it for me to lose in time and then  to wake up the next day just to save it.
