‘ The boy who lived’- it’s been almost 5 years since any Potter head has heard these magical words. And just last week , with the fantastic beasts movie, this magical world, which was slowly drowning under the marshes of growing puberty and mid twenties, suddenly sprung back from the cobwebs and the dust lathering it and rose again to the heights, it has always been on.
The world reincarnated itself in the jinx cast again- only this time, it was nostalgic and full of past emotions rolled into a two and half hour experience ( even for the muggles or no-maj’s out there!! ) . The famous Harry Potter tune , played at the beginning of the movie, was in itself an eternal moment which cannot be described in words.
Another rare thing , which could not be neglected was the connection between the audience. Even though they were strangers, they nodded to one another , acknowledging the common string of emotions rushing through their veins- the same emotions to which they had bid adeu to – 5 years ago. It was like a huge ‘pensive’ into which millions of heads were dug again at the same moment, reliving the memories they had left down the lane with a heavy heart.
P.S. – This is not a movie review nor an attempt to write one. It’s just the outburst of emotions in the form of words , which I couldn’t keep to myself. 🙂
